The door will be those wooden door with big glass panel in the middle of it so that the room will be supervised. There will also be a window so that from the office, the room can be seen. On the wall there can be photographs of children or children's artwork.<div><br /></div><div>The room is for all children who feel unhappy or angry to go into, or when they want to talk to teachers or the supervisor privately. (Meaning: They can choose to talk to the teachers or have their own private space.)</div><div><br /></div><div>I will be a teacher who will try to remember every child's names and their preference for morning greetings. Perhaps some like hugs, some like to just say morning, etc. It may take time (because of my extremely bad memory) but it's worth the effort when by the end of the day, children will be close to you. If the purpose is to help children with special needs to gain social skills and interact with others, then what exactly will they gain from it? What can they do (as in job scope) in order to contribute to the society since they will not be able to catch up in mainstream and neither are they in special education schools?<div><br /></div><div><b>My conclusion: </b></div><div>Let the child have both of the worlds. Allow the child to go for both mainstream and special education at the same time.
